Kryetarin e Kuvendit, u prit nga Presidenti i Senatit të Francës Jean-Pierre Bel, në Paris.
Presidenti i Senatit Jean-Pierre Bel: Franca mbështet kandidaturën e Shqipërisë, ti bashkohet familjes së kombeve europiane.
Gjatë vizitës së tij të parë zyrtare Kryetari i Kuvendit, z. Ilir Meta u prit nga Presidenti i Senatit të Francës Jean-Pierre.
Z. Meta vlerësoj marrëdhëniet e shkëlqyera midis dy vendeve, marrëdhënie në të gjitha fushat, jo vetëm politike, ekonomike por dhe në fushën e arsimit, kulturës. Franca është një partner i rëndësishëm për Shqipërinë dhe për të gjithë rajonin e vendit tonë. Ne mbështetemi fuqimisht në realizimin e një Shqipërie Europiane tek Franca.
Presidenti i Senatit të Francës, z. Jean-Pierre Bel u shpreh se është kënaqësi e madhe të pres Kryetarin e Kuvendit të Shqipërisë në Francë. Franca përshëndet pjekurinë politike të Shqipërisë, përmes së cilës u zhvillua tranzicioni i pushtetit dhe natyrisht jemi shumë të vëmendshëm ndaj vendimit që do të marrë Këshilli Evropian gjatë javës së ardhshme.
Në vijim, z. Meta siguroi z. Bel se Shqipëria do të nxisë bashkëpunimin me Francën, jo vetëm në kuadër të integrimit evropian të Shqipërisë dhe stabilitetit në rajonin e Ballkanit , por dhe në kuadër të Frankofonisë dhe të Unionit të Mesdheut.
Gjatë bisedës, z. Bel tha se, ne e mbështesim kandidaturën e Shqipërisë dhe kemi shumë besim në procesin që do të mundësojë që Shqipëria, njëkohësisht vend evropian dhe vend mesdhetar, ti bashkohet familjes së kombeve europiane, ku do të ketë vendin që meriton.
Kryetari i Kuvendit, z. Meta shprehu kënaqësinë që vitin e ardhshëm Presidenti z. Bel të vizitojë Shqipërinë. Kjo do të jepte një shtysë akoma më të fuqishme në marrëdhëniet midis dy vendeve tona.

President of the Senate Jean – Pierre Bel : France supports the candidacy of Albania , to join the family of European nations .
During his first official President of the Assembly , Mr. . Ilir Meta was received by the President of the French Senate Jean – Pierre .
Mr. Meta appreciate the excellent relations between the two countries , relations in all fields , not only political , but economic and education and culture. France is an important partner for Albania and for the entire region of our country . We rely heavily on the realization of a European country to France .
President of the Senate of France , Mr. . Jean – Pierre Bel said that is great fun to wait Speaker of Parliament in France .
