Kryetari i Kuvendit z. Ilir Meta u prit ne Paris nga Presidenti i Senatit te Frances z. Jean-Pierre Bel.
Ne kuadër te vizitës zyrtare ne France, Kryetari i Kuvendit te Shqipërisë z. Ilir Meta u prit sot nga Presidenti i Senatit te Frances z. Jean-Pierre Bel, me te cilin diskutuan mbi marrëdhëniet mes dy vendeve, mbi procesin e integrimit evropian te vendit dhe mbi zhvillimet e fundit ne rajon.
Ne takim ishin te pranishëm Zv. Presidentja e Senatit znj. Bariza Khiari, Kryetari i Komisionit te Ceshtjeve Evropiane ne Senat z. Simon Sutour, Përfaqësuesi Special i Frances për Diplomacinë Ekonomike ne Ballkanin Perëndimor Senatori Alain Richard, si dhe anëtarë te Grupit te Miqësisë France-Shqipëri ne Senat.
Presidenti i Senatit te Frances z. Jean-Pierre Bel pasi shprehu kenaqesine per viziten e pare te z. Meta ne Senatin Francez, beri një vlerësim te progresit te Shqipërisë gjate muajve te fundit, duke evidentuar pjekurinë politike te shoqërisë dhe politikes shqiptare gjate dhe pas zgjedhjeve te qershorit, te cilat janë dëshmi e qarte e vullnetit te Shqipërisë për te avancuar drejt Bashkimit Evropian.
Ne ketë drejtim, z. Bel shprehu mbështetjen e Francez për perspektiven evropiane te Shqipërisë duke theksuar se te gjitha vendet e rajonit te Ballkanit Perëndimor e kane vendin ne Evrope.
Kryetari i Kuvendit z. Ilir Meta shprehu kenaqesine e tij per viziten ne Senatin Francez dhe u shpreh se Franca përfaqëson nje partner shume te rendesishem per Shqipërinë dhe se rritja e interesit francez ndaj vendit tone dhe rajonit pritet me kenaqesi.
Z. Meta theksoi se Shqipëria është e vendosur te avancoje ne rrugen e saj te reformave te thella qe ka nisur, duke patur besim ne mbështetjen e rendesishme te Frances. Ne kete drejtim, z. Meta shprehu vullnetin per krijimin e nje dinamike me te forte te marredhenieve dypaleshe duke u fokusuar ne bashkepunimin konkret politik, ekonomik, dhe kulturor.
Duke biseduar mbi zhvillimet politike ne vend, Kryetari i Kuvendi z. Meta dhe Presidenti i Senatit te France z. Bel, u perqendruan ne klimen me pozitive politike qe po perjeton Shqiperia pas zgjedhjeve te qershorit dhe ne rritjen e cilesise se dialogut konstruktiv dhe bashkepunimit mes paleve ne Parlament ne interes te axhendes evropiane te vendit.
Gjate takimit ne Senat, Zv. Presidentja e Senatit znj. Bariza Khiari shprehu mbeshtetjen e Frances per procesin e integrimit evropian te Shqiperise dhe vuri ne dukje rendesine e intensifikimit te bashkepunimit mes dy vendeve ne kuader te Frankofonise dhe Bashkimit per Mesdheun.
Kryetari i Komisionit te Ceshtjeve Evropiane ne Senat z. Simon Sutour pasi beri nje vleresim te progresit te Shqiperise, i cili u konfirmua edhe nga Progres Raporti i fundit i Komisionit Evropian, shprehu deshiren qe Shqiperia t’a marre statusin e vendit kandidat ne BE sa me shpejt, duke theksuar rendesine e integrimit te te gjitha vendeve te Ballkanit Perendimor ne Bashkimin Evropian.
I Derguari i Veçante i Frances per Diplomacine Ekonomike Senatori z. Alain Richard u shpreh se pas Samitit te Brdos, Franca e ka konfirmuar tashme angazhimin e saj per te ardhmen evropiane te Shqiperise dhe te vendeve te tjera te rajonit, duke e pergezuar njekohesisht z. Meta per rolin dhe perqasjen teper pozitive te Shqiperise ne mbarevajtjen e stabilitetit dhe paqes ne Ballkanin Perendimor. Senatori Richard theksoi se Shqiperia ka bere progres te dukshe, dhe vendi ofron potenciale te medha te cilat po marrin gjithnje e me teper vemendjen e investitoreve franceze. Ne kete drejtim z. Richard u shpreh se Franca eshte e gatshme te ofroje ekspertizen e saj ne fusha prioritare si energjia, infrastruktura, bujqesia apo agro-perpunimi.
Z. Meta ne perfundim shprehu mirënjohjen e Shqiperise per mbeshtetjen e Frances ndaj integrimit te saj evropian, dhe theksoi se e tere klasa politike e Shqiperise, e merr kete mbeshtetje si nje inkurajim ne funksion te thellimit te dialogut konstruktiv politik dhe te pershpejtimit te rruges se reformave qe Qeveria ka filluar te ndermarre gjate javeve te fundit.
Kryetari i Kuvendit Meta e ftoi Presidentin e Senatit te France Bel per nje vizite zyrtare ne Shqiperi se bashku me Grupin e Miqesise France-Shqiperi, ftese te cilen z. Bel e pranoi me kenaqesi.
Kryetari i Kuvendit te Shqiperise Ilir Meta u ftua te ishte i pranishem gjithashtu ne Seancen Plenare te Senatit, gjate se ciles, Presidenti Jean-Pierre Bel beri nje përshëndetje te vecante per Kryetarin Meta ku theksoi: “Vizita e Kryetarit te Kuvendit te Shqipërisë z. Ilir Meta zhvillohet ne nje kontekst te ri pas zgjedhjeve legjislative te qershorit te kaluar, qe mundesuan alternimin politik ne Shqipëri dhe propozimin e fundit te Komisionit Evropian per dhenien e statusit te vendit kandidat ne BE. Vizita e Kryetarit Meta kontribuon ne forcim e metejshem te marredhenieve mes dy vendeve tona dhe midis dy parlamenteve”.
Ne kuader te vizites se tij ne Paris, Kryetari i Kuvendit z. Ilir Meta u prit ne nje takim te vecante edhe nga Presidenti i Grupit te Kompanive Franceze MEDEF z. Thierry Courtaigne shoqeruar nga perfaqesues te ndryshem te komunitetit te investitoreve. Z. Meta dhe z. Courtaigne ndane bindjen se Shqiperia perfaqeson potenciale domethenese per investimet franceze si nje porte hyrese ne rajonin e Ballkanit Perendimor, duke theksuar se Franca duhet t’a rrise prezencen e saj ne Shqiperi dhe ne te gjitha vendet e rajonit.

In the framework of the official visit to France , President of the Assembly of Albania Mr. . Ilir Meta was received by the President of the Senate of France Mr . Jean – Pierre Bel , with whom discussed relations between the two countries , the process of European integration of the country and on the latest developments in the region .
The meeting was attended by the Deputy . Senate President Mrs . Bariza Khiari , Chairman of the European Affairs Committee of the Senate , Mr. . President of the Senate of France Mr . Jean – Pierre Bel expressed his pleasure for the first visit of Mr. . Talking about political developments in the country , Mr. President of the Assembly . Meta and the President of the Senate of France Mr . Bel , was focused on the positive political climate that Albania is experiencing after the June elections and increasing the quality of collaboration and constructive dialogue between the parties in Parliament on behalf of the European agenda of the country .
During the meeting in the Senate , Vice . Senate President Mrs . Khiari Bariza France expressed support for the process of European integration of Albania and noted the importance of intensifying cooperation between the two countries within the Francophone Union for the Mediterranean .
Chairman of the European Affairs Committee of the Senate , Mr. . Simon Sutour after an evaluation of the progress of Albania , which was confirmed by the latest progress report of the European Commission , expressed the wish that I take Albania candidate status in the EU as soon as possible , stressing the importance of integration all Western Balkan countries in the European Union .
