Ish-presidenti gjerman Christian Wulff pritet të gjykohet në vendin e tij nën akuzën e shkëmbimit të favoreve gjatë kohës që mbante poste zyrtare.
Ai dyshohet se ka pranuar pagesën e faturave të hoteleve nga një producent filmash në këmbim të lobimit, në kohën kur ishte kryeministër i Saksonisë së Ulët në vitin 2008.

Zoti Wolff dyshohet se ka lejuar Groenewold që t’i paguajë faturat e hotelit në Mynih gjatë festës së birrës Oktoberfest në vitin 2008 dhe në ishullin verior të Syltit në vitin 2007.
Në këmbim zoti Wulff dyshohet se ka lobuar në kompanitë gjermane për të mbështetur dhe për të promovuar produksionet e zotit Groenewold.
Prokurorët janë përpjekur ta çojnë në gjyq ish-kreun e shtetit për korrupsion, por gjykata ka pranuar vetëm akuzat më pak serioze të ngritura ndaj tij. Nëse dënohet, ai rrezikon tre vjet burg ose një gjobë.

He allegedly received payment of hotel bills from a movie producer in exchange for lobbying , when he was prime minister of Lower Saxony in 2008 .
Mr. Wulff , who retired in February 2012 after less than two years in office , is the first former president of Germany to respond to the charges in court .
On his 54 – year-old has refuted the allegations and has vowed to clear his name . Even filmmaker David Groenewold faces similar charges . The process is expected to begin Thursday morning in the northern city of Hanover .
Mr. Wolff allegedly allowing Groenewold to pay hotel bills in Munich during the Oktoberfest beer festival in 2008 and the northern island of Syltit in 2007.
In exchange for Mr. Wulff is suspected of German companies lobbied to support and promote productions of Mr. Groenewold .
Prosecutors are trying to bring to trial former head of state of corruption , but the court has received less serious charges against him . If convicted , he risks three years in prison or a fine .
Two defendants in March rejected a prosecutor’s offer to settle the matter with a fine , a procedure that allowed for cases not considered serious .
